Shakti Project of Rajasthan
|
Shakti means power
The aim of the Shakti Project of Rajasthan is to empower street children through education.
|
A Helping Hand
Things the Project would appreciate
- your time to play with the children, check home work, develop their
language skills, cook lunch....
- your time to work on extending the children's education, developing
training for small businesses and skills to use to create income.
- books for a library
- pencils, pens, exercise books, school uniforms
- sports equipment- games are good for children’s health, develop social
skills and keep them out of the Bazaar where they could fall back into
begging.
- clothes or blankets to be handed out to their families
- funds to keep kids in school, pay for food and rent, perhaps even a
stipend for Ramsingh
- any one visiting Pushkar- could you take photos and email them
to me for the website? I would really appreciate that- Fiona

Visitors are always
such fun!
Children love to
show off their skills
and your interest
re-inforces the
value of those skills.
The bubbles were
such a great idea,
games and
language skills all
get worked on.
